1. Who we are
Real Estate Agent Email Lists (realestateagentsemaillists.com) sells files of business contact details for licensed US real estate agents. The site is operated by [Legal entity name], [Postal address] ("we", "us"). This policy covers two groups of people: visitors and customers of the site, and the real estate licensees whose business details appear in our files. Questions go to support@realestateagentsemaillists.com.
2. Information we collect from customers
We collect only what we need to run the site and deliver what you ask for.
- Waitlist, sample and newsletter sign-ups: your email address, the state or file you asked about, and the date. Asking for a free sample or joining the waitlist signs you up to a short series of emails about the files; every one has an unsubscribe link.
- Accounts and orders: first and last name, email address, country, what you bought, the edition, order and invoice numbers, and the history of your downloads. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email, so we never hold a password for you.
- Payments: card payments are taken by Stripe. Card numbers go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. We receive the payment status, the last four digits and brand of the card, and the billing country.
- Messages: what you send through the contact or removal forms, and our replies.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept in server logs for security, rate limiting and fraud prevention.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and which links are clicked. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics stays off unless you agree. Elsewhere you can turn it off at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
3. Information in our data files
Our files describe real estate licensees in their professional capacity: name, license type, number, status and dates, brokerage, office address, county and metro area, business email, business or mobile phone where the agent publishes it for clients, website, designations, specialties and languages. Each row records where it came from and when it was last checked.
This information comes from state licensing records, from brokerage and agent websites that permit it, from email addresses inferred from a brokerage's address pattern and then checked by independent verification services, and from licensed data suppliers. We do not collect home addresses on purpose, we do not use data from sites that forbid it, and we never take data from consumer listing portals.
The files are about people's work, not their private lives. We do not sell information about consumers, health, finances or any sensitive category.
4. How we use information
- To deliver files, editions and monthly updates you bought, and to send receipts and download links.
- To answer messages and handle removal requests.
- To send waitlist, sample and update emails you asked for. You can unsubscribe from any of them in one click; transactional messages about an order you placed still reach you.
- To keep the site secure, stop abuse and meet legal and tax duties.
- To improve the site, using aggregate analytics.
We do not sell customer information, and we do not add customers or site visitors to any data file.
6. Your rights under CCPA and CPRA
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive information (we do not use any). We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Residents of other states with privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Oregon, have similar rights, and we honor them the same way.
To use a right, email support@realestateagentsemaillists.com or, for removal from our files, use the removal form. We confirm your request by email and answer within 45 days. An authorized agent may act for you with your signed permission. If we refuse a request you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we will respond to the appeal within 60 days.
For licensees in our files, "opting out of sale" means removal: once you are suppressed, you are left out of every future edition.
7. Data broker registrations
Because we sell files about people we do not have a direct relationship with, several states treat us as a data broker. We register with California, Vermont, Texas and Oregon, and any other state that requires it, before we sell data about residents or licensees of that state. Californians can also ask registered data brokers to delete their information through the state's Delete Act request platform, and we process those requests the same way as our own removal form.
8. Opting out and removal
Any agent can ask to be removed with the removal form or by email. We confirm by email, add you to a suppression list, and every future edition checks that list before it is published, so you stay out for good. Files that customers downloaded before your removal cannot be recalled, but our terms require customers to honor opt-outs and unsubscribe requests, and monthly update subscribers receive the new edition without you.
9. Retention
- Order, invoice and payment records: seven years, for tax and accounting.
- Account details: while your account is open, then deleted on request unless an order record must be kept.
- Waitlist and newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe, or two years after your last sign-up or order, whichever comes first.
- Contact messages: two years.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Licensee data: each edition replaces the last. Older editions stay available to customers who bought them, and suppressed people are removed from every edition built after their request.
- The suppression list itself: kept for as long as we publish files, because deleting it would put people back in.
10. Security
Data is stored with Cloudflare and encrypted in transit and at rest. Download links are signed and expire after 15 minutes, sign-in codes expire after minutes and are stored only as hashes, and administrative access is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
11. International visitors
We are a US-focused service and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where we receive personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
12. Children
The site is for businesses. It is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
13. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we email customers before it takes effect.
