1. Reporting infringement
We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). If you believe material on realestateagentsemaillists.com infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to our designated agent below. We remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice and tell the person who provided it.
If your concern is about your own contact details in our files rather than copyright, use the removal form instead; it is faster.
2. What to include in a notice
A notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- the material you say is infringing and where it is on our site, with enough detail (such as the URL) for us to find it;
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Notices that leave out these items may not be acted on. Knowingly false claims can lead to liability for damages.
3. Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent with your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the US, any district where we may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We forward valid counter-notices to that person, and may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
4. Repeat infringers
We end the accounts of users who are found to infringe copyright repeatedly, in appropriate circumstances.
